DeJohn Pet Services is hosting its annual Blessing of Animals and Memorial Service on Saturday, October 14th at 2:00 p.m. at the DeJohn Pet Services on the campus of DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Homes at 28890 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend.
This outdoor, ecumenical service held on the DeJohn Funeral Homes campus is Free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to bring their cherished pet for a blessing and/or photos or token of your deceased pet to be used in the memorial service. Private blessings are available upon request.
“Our annual pet blessing and memorial service gives everyone in our community a chance to honor their faithful companion. Pet parents can bring their pet to be blessed or bring a special token for the memorial service,” said Sherri DiPietro, DeJohn Pet Cremation Specialist.
The DeJohn Pet Services building was completed in 2010 as an addition to the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Homes in Willoughby Hills. In addition to cremation and transportation to the pets final resting place, grieving families can plan custom-tailored memorial services, including the option to be present when their pet is cremated.
“Pets are a very special part of the family and should be treated as such. We care for a family’s pet with the utmost dignity, respect and compassion by people who are pet parents, just like you,” added Sherri.
