When shoppers at the Great Lakes Mall purchase at the Macy’s store, they can choose to round up their total to the nearest dollar and donate their change to support camp scholarships at the Lake County West End Y. The Macy’s promotion runs through May 22nd.

“Macy’s recognizes and supports the important work the Lake County YMCA does every day to help all kids reach their full potential, and now they’re making it even easier for you to do the same,” said Clint Simon, executive of the Lake County West End Y.

“The Lake County Y knows that in order for communities to succeed, everyone must have the opportunity to reach their full potential, and with summer just around the corner, Macy’s is helping us ensure that every child – regardless of age, income or background – has the opportunity to attend summer camp at the Y!” added Clint.

The Macy’s Good Cents program will be supporting YMCA’s across the nation this May, where customers can round up in-store purchases and donate the change (up to $0.99) to fund youth camp scholarships.
