The Lake County YMCA will celebrate its 6th annual YMCA GALA of Y Champions on September 30th at the Mentor Harbor Yachting Club in Mentor.
This year the live auction includes packages such as a tour for eight of Terminal Tower in Downtown Cleveland, a private cocktail hours for up to 50 guests at Sunset Grille, catered gourmet dinner at the 25th Anniversary Y Dream House in 2018, and much more. For Gala tickets or sponsor information visit Lake County YMCA 6th Annual Gala of Champions.
Winners will also be drawn for a raffle that offers a choice of two trip options; either a three-night stay at Pinehurst Golf Resort for two with three rounds of golf per person OR a three-night stay in Napa Valley on the Backroads and Railways tour. Raffle tickets are $30 each or three for $75 and may be purchased at any Lake County Y branch or online at Lake County YMCA 6th Annual Gala of Champions. Drawing will be held on September 30th at the GALA of Y Champions. Winner does not need to be present.
Proceeds from the Gala of Y Champions will benefit the Lake County Y by enhancing programs that improve our community’s health and well-being for children, adults and seniors.
“As a leading nonprofit partner throughout the country, the Y has the track record and on-the-ground resources to move communities forward, just as we do here in Lake County. As a charity, we look every day to address community needs and ensure that all are welcome and that no one is turned away for inability to pay,” said Sarah Baggott, Director of Philanthropy for the Lake County YMCA.
For 150 years, the Lake County Y has served the community as a diverse organization changing the lives of men, women and children through a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Today the Y currently serves 1 in 5 children, adults and seniors in the county and is recognized as the second oldest Y in continuous operation in the State of Ohio.
