The Cleveland Rape Crisis center has two open positions in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties. Qualified individuals are encouraged to apply via email or post. The open positions are as follows:
Community Outreach Specialist (Regional: Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties)

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC) is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to create, implement and manage new and existing outreach opportunities in Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties which support all messages and strategic direction set forth by CRCC. The successful candidate will collaborate with community members, allied agencies and organizations to develop and maintain partnerships, determine education and training needs, build and maintain community wide response networks to sexual violence and assist in outreach to underserved communities. The position reports to the Senior Director of Victim Services and Outreach. A qualified applicant will have a BA in a related field, experience in working with community-based programs; demonstrate leadership, collaboration, facilitation and organizational skills. This is a full time position. Requires travel within North East Ohio.

Victim Specialist (Regional)

The Victim Specialist reports to the Victim Services Manager and provides support, crisis intervention, education, resources and referrals to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and human trafficking outside of Cuyahoga County. The Victim Specialist accompanies survivors and co-survivors in police stations and throughout their involvement with the criminal justice process (in Ashtabula County), serves as member of Sexual Assault Response Teams (Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula Counties) and assists with training officers, medical staff, CRCC volunteers and other community members in the dynamics of sexual assault and trauma, works closely with fellow advocates and police unit/court staff members, communicating regarding case management and scheduling. A qualified applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in a related field providing direct services to the community in a criminal justice or human services program, LSW preferred. Must have ability to work independently, build relationships, and collaborate internally and externally, excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is a full time (40-hours a week) position. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary. Must have valid OH driver’s license and reliable transportation.
