Blackbrook Audubon welcomes Dan Best as he presents “Parked: A Rearview Mirror Retrospective” as a virtual program 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. A handful of original songs and a helping of humor await viewers as Dan, retired naturalist and raconteur, looks back on his 33 years with Geauga Park District, recalling his adventures with wildlife and people.
Dan was a member and leader of the Maple Town Tune Traders. Often sharing special natural phenomena not to be missed, Dan has been a wealth of knowledge for the public and a mentor to naturalists and volunteers.
Anyone interested in hearing the presentation must register on the event page of blackbrookaudubon.org or at geaugaparkdistrict.org. A link will be sent to each registrant’s email address.
While the program starts at 7:00 p.m., Trevor Wearstler, the host and president of Blackbrook, will allow people into the meeting about 6:30 to familiarize themselves with the software features or to chat with other attendees.
As a local chapter of National Audubon Society, Blackbrook Audubon covers Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake Counties. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow Blackbrook Audubon Society on Facebook for updates.
