Fine Arts Association Senior Matinee Series Presents “Plaid Tidings”

The Fine Arts Association is pleased to announce “Plaid Tidings” as the next production in the 2014-15 Senior Matinee Series on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Corning Auditorium of The Fine Arts Association.

The Plaids are back in this delightful holiday version of “Forever Plaid” featuring memorable holiday classics including “Let It Snow,” “Jingle Bells,” “Joy to the World” and “Home for the Holidays.” This musical is sure to inspire you to dance in your seats.

This is a program guaranteed to get you in the holiday mood. “Plaid Tidings” is a heartwarming and fun tale featuring the return of the foursome The Plaids who will perform your favorite holiday songs in an effort to bring that Christmas spirit back,” said James Mango, Director of Performing Arts for The Fine Arts Association.

For tickets to “Plaid Tidings” call (440) 951-7500 or reserve online. Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended for this popular performance. All Senior Matinee Series programs include a cookie and punch reception following the performance.

Individual tickets for the Senior Matinee Series are $15 per person per program; Group tickets (for ten or more) are $12 per person per program. Limited wheelchair seating is available.

Performances beyond 2014 include “Mid-day Music with the Mayor” on March 4, 2015; “Show Tune Showcase” on April 29, 2015; and “The Producers” on June 10, 2015.

The Senior Matinee Series is open to all. It is sponsored by Randall Residence and is funded in part by a grant from The Lake County Visitors Bureau Arts and Culture Fund to further participation in, and awareness of, arts and culture in Lake County. Funding is also received from the Ohio Arts Council.
