Lake County YMCA Presents a World of Service

Lake County YMCA cordially invites the community to join in celebration of A World of Service during the 4th Annual Gala of Y Champions on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6-11 p.m. at the Manikiki Country Club,35501 Eddy Road in Willoughby Hills.

“The Lake County Y is dedicated to supporting individuals and offering help in trying times, including meeting the unique needs of our community and those of individuals around the world. YMCAs in over 119 countries help more than 45 million people reach their full potential for a better future,” explained Debby Speck, Director of special events of Lake County YMCA.

Speck continued, “The Gala of Y Champions is critical in supporting strategic priorities of the Lake County Y as well as World Service. These programs strengthen the C ‘Christian Emphasis’ in the YMCA. From local programs like the Summer Learning Loss Prevention, or sending a Kid to Camp, every dollar raised makes an important difference in strengthening our community, one individual or family at a time.”

Tickets are $250 couple/$70 tax deductible or $130 individual/$40 tax deductible. Additional sponsorship opportunities and tax-deductible options are available. Sponsorships include name recognition in post-event press release, prominent display of your company logo or name, preferred seating during the Gala dinner, and more.

Raffle tickets for a trip to Costa Rica are currently being sold to raise additional funds to support YMCA programs as well. Win a five-night stay for two at the beautiful Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Culebra Bay.

The resort’s numerous amenities include two secluded gold sand beaches, kayaking, paddle-boarding or snorkeling, golfing and the Onda Wellness and Spa. Vacation includes round trip airfare.

The drawing will be held Nov. 7 at the 4th Annual Gala of Y Champions. Winner does not need to be present. All proceeds benefit the Lake County YMCA. Raffle tickets are $25 each and can be purchased online here.
