The Fine Arts Association is pleased to present “Alice in Wonderland” in the Corning Auditorium from Nov. 6-8 in conjunction with Magical Theatre Company.
In this classic tale, adapted from the book by Lewis Carroll, audiences will follow Alice through the Looking Glass where she meets the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit and more quirky Wonderland characters. Three amazing actors play thirteen roles supported by very unique, oversized paper-maché props and head pieces created by Magical Theatre’s specialty designer, Mark Jenks.
“One of the reasons I like this particular production is that it is filled with humor for both kids and adults, and doesn’t find the need to explore the deeper, darker bits of Lewis Carroll and his writing,” said Dennis O’Connell, Co-Producing Director of the professional children’s theatre company.
“I like that we have a young girl playing Alice, rather than a short, young woman. Having a strong child actor like Leah Greczanik creates an authentic performance that children can relate to,” continues O’Connell.
For tickets to “Alice in Wonderland,” call 440-951-7500 or reserve online here. Reservations are not required, but recommended.
Individual tickets are $15 per person; tickets for children ages 10 and under are $10. Discounted group tickets (for ten or more) as well as Family Series season ticket packages are available. Note: Subscription deadlines close Nov. 8.
Upcoming Fine Arts productions include “Chili Con Comedy” on Nov. 14 as well as “Scrooge” (Nov. 27-Dec. 20) and a special Brass Band of the Western Reserve Holiday Pops Concert on Dec. 19.
