Rescue Village to Host Virtual Pet Adoption Event as part of the ASPCA® & Subaru Loves Pets Grant Program

WHO: Adventure Subaru, ASPCA and Rescue Village

WHAT: Our first ever virtual Adoption Event! Adoptable animals will be showcased live on Facebook. Our Dog Behavior Coordinator, Will Zaslavsky, will be introducing the animals, going over their history and what type of home they would do best in. We will be outside along with our adoption staff and dog volunteers that will be showcasing adoptable animals along with a puppy playgroup! There will be interviews with our Humane Agent, our Barn Manager and other key staff and program managers to give the public updates on our programs and services and how we serve our community.

WHERE: Link to virtual FB Live event:

(Live feed coming from Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Road, Novelty OH 44072)

WHEN: The event starts live at 1pm and will go until at least 2:30 pm. We suggest media arrive at 12:45.

WHY: We have been open by appointment only and doing curbside adoptions since March, so this is a great opportunity for us to connect with the community and allow people to see our animals in real-time and with a staff member or volunteer so they can get a better idea if that animal is right for their home! We plan to showcase and adopt out at least 16 animals as part of the grant program.

HOW: Contact Rebecca McNish at 440-338-4819 x 40.

MORE: We have a partnership with the ASPCA and their Relocation Program to transport dogs from shelters nationwide that are overwhelmed and overpopulated, thus saving more lives! We have been a receiving shelter for this important program for over 6 years.
