“Scrooge!” at The Fine Arts Association

The holidays are not complete without a classic Christmas production at The Fine Arts Association. Families and friends are invited to enjoy the classic musical, “Scrooge!” on weekends beginning Friday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Directed by Ann Hedger, a cast of thirty-five actors perform this musical re-telling of Charles Dickens’ Christmas classic about the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who discovers what the spirit of Christmas is all about.

For tickets call 440-951-7500 or reserve online. Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended. Adult tickets are $25; Seniors and students 11 and older tickets are $23; Children under 10 are $15.

Everyone can also enjoy the “Little Dickens Victorian Tea” Package which includes a Victorian-inspired tea at Lake County History Center (415 Riverside Drive, Painesville) followed by the “Scrooge!” performance at The Fine Arts Association on Dec. 19. Tea begins at Noon. Performance begins at 2 p.m.

Adult, senior and students ages 11 and older packages are $28; Children packages are $25.

Upcoming 2016 productions include “The Fisherman and the Moon” as presented by Talespinner Children’s Theatre on Jan. 15 and 16 and “The Little Mermaid” on weekends Feb. 12-28. Theatre tickets are memorable holiday gifts.

The Fine Arts Association is located at 38660 Mentor Avenue, Willoughby, OH 44094. Safe, secure on-site parking is free. The Main Gallery is barrier free.

“Scrooge!” is sponsored by The Women’s Committee of The Fine Arts Association, Andrews Osborne Academy and Breckenridge Village.
