Snowbelt Musical Arts Association 2020 Winter Gala To Be Held January 18

The Snowbelt Musical Arts Association will hold its annual Winter Gala on Saturday, January 18th, at LaMalfa in Mentor. Attendees will enjoy a night of fun, food, and festivities with live music, dancing, and a reverse raffle. This year’s theme is “Music Makes the World Go ‘Round.”

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be the Wingate Grand Buffet featuring a variety of salads, cheeses and cold meats, several choices of hot entrees, dessert, and coffee and tea. A cash bar will be available. Music for dancing will be provided by SMAA’s own Polar Vortex big band beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The reverse raffle will have a main board prize of $1,000. In addition to the raffle there will be side boards, silent and Chinese auctions, and Super Bowl squares. The auction items include unique baskets representing different regions of the world, trips, one-of-a-kind music and sports memorabilia, and items donated by area businesses and individuals.

All proceeds will benefit Snowbelt Musical Arts Association’s bands music education programs for youth and adults in the Snowbelt.

Tickets for the event are $50 and can be purchased online at Snowbelt Musical or by calling 440-296-9610. Deadline to purchase tickets is January 11th. LaMalfa is located at 5783 Heisley Rd., Mentor.
