The Lake County YMCA will be hosting its 6th annual free community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 22nd from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the West End Branch, 37100 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
“Thanksgiving is more than another holiday for our Y; it’s a time when we put on aprons to serve our community. The annual dinner at our West End branch continues our tradition of providing a welcoming place for people, from all walks of life, to relax and enjoy great food and the company of others,” said Margaret Warner, Healthy Living Director of the Lake County West End Y.
No registration is necessary to attend.
“Whether your need is a good home cooked meal, your life is hectic and chaotic and you need a break, or maybe you need a warm shower, the Y is here for you. Everyone is Welcome,” added Margaret.
One of our guests from last year said, “You sit with family and friends and the volunteers prepare your plate and bring it to you – we don’t stand in or file through a line. It’s personal. I’ll remember this place.”
If you have additional questions about attending, contact the Lake County West End Y at 440-946-1160.
