The 2020 Winter Gala will be an evening filled with music, food, and fun held at LaMalfa in Mentor. The event includes entertainment by our own Polar Vortex, a reverse raffle, and auction items.
Tickets are now available online! $50 per person includes: dinner and dessert buffet, coffee and tea. Cash bar available. Tickets must be purchased by January 11, 2020.
Money raised at this event will go toward purchasing much needed musical instruments, expanding our music education programming for youths and adults, and covering current operational expenses. Last year’s event allowed us to purchase a concert bass drum and a set of concert tom-toms, as well as funding our new instrumental workshop series.
Up for auction at the gala this year are several different trip packages including trips to New York, New Orleans, and Mexico. There are also unique framed photos of Baker Mayfield and the Ohio State University Marching Band.
The members of the Lake Effect Concert Band are creating unique themed baskets featuring items representing different regions of the world – Asia, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, and Latin America.
