Laketran is not immune to the nationwide labor shortage. Trying to avoid longer wait times or denying trips, Laketran is hosting its fourth hiring event of the year with a goal to fill multiple positions for the Lake County transit agency. The event offers immediate interviews on site. Laketran is currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Part-time bus drivers
- Diesel Mechanics

No CDL is required and all training is provided and paid.
