Get ready for a mall takeover as event producer, ProMark Enterprises has planned one BIG Day for one REALLY BIG Event! The KidShow returns to Great Lakes Mall on Saturday, March 22 from 11am-6pm for its 26th year! Every year, thousands of families from across the region flock to this must-attend event to discover valuable resources for kids’ products and services and to have a whole lot of family fun!
March is the perfect month for the KidShow as parents are beginning to look for summertime sign-ups and activities of which they will find plenty of resources. It is the month where we all get a bit of “cabin fever” and are ready to get out and about. This one-stop information shop is a huge resource for parents and a blast for kids. Look for schools and daycares, sports and entertainment, health and fitness, home and financial, camps and vacations and everything in between. Along with sharing information, many of the exhibitors will also be sharing interactive activities with attending families.
Jam-packed with activities and fun, there is something for everyone! If you have not attended the KidShow, be ready for exhibitors, activity stations, costume characters, crafts, giveaways, prizes, on-going entertainment and a family fun experience! Be creative at the KidShow Kids Counter where every two hours there is a different craft to make, participate in vendor offered booth activities, play in the backyard play area, meet local authors of children’s books (including two young authors who are 10 years old!), take a photo with your favorite costume characters and be sure to join in on the Scavenger Hunt. Game cards are available at the KidShow Registration Center at the top of the Food Court. Visit exhibitors displaying blue balloons to complete your game card with stickers and enter to win a $100 Prize Bag of Family Fun Games! Three lucky people will win!
Plan for a fun-filled AWESOME day starting early so that you can be one of the first 500 families to receive a goody bag at the Registration Center. Three lucky bags will hold red envelopes with special KidShow prizes!
“The opportunity we set out to create with the KidShow is one for parents to spend time with their kids at a free event filled with hours of activities and fun,” states Patty Perry of ProMark Enterprises, KidShow producer. “The outcome we seek is children inspired by others through entertainment and interactive participation and parents gaining a wealth of new knowledge and resources to make good family choices.” As you can imagine, the coordination of the KidShow is a large undertaking but for the staff at ProMark, this yearly event is a true labor of love.
