Snowbelt Musical Arts Association presents Water Music – Friday, March 24th

Join the Lake Effect Concert Band in a fun program of water-themed music. Of course we’ll be playing selections from Handel’s Water Music, along with familiar music from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, and blockbuster film Titanic. Our first concert at the beautiful new auditorium at Berkshire High School.

Free – no tickets required. Donations greatly appreciated.

There is no sign for the school by the road. The driveway is between the KSU Geauga campus and the Fairgrounds and has a small street sign that says “John Patterson Educational Parkway.”
Patrons with wheelchairs or difficulty walking distances will want to go straight ahead, park on the lower level, and enter through door #9. Otherwise go left and park on the upper side of the school and enter through the Middle School/High School entrance. There are stairs or an elevator to get to the lower level.

Raffle and More!

New for this concert we will be raffling off some prizes including a $100 Meijer gift card and 4 tickets to the Snowbelt Symphony “A Taste of Italy” concert. Raffle tickets are 1/$1, 6/$5, or an arm’s length/$10.

Pugshine Puzzles will also be in the lobby with their locally made jigsaw puzzles. They have an assortment of custom made 100 and 196 piece puzzles, including many with music themes. Puzzles are $15 and a portion of each sale goes to SMAA.


“A Taste of Italy” Coming Up April 1st

The Snowbelt Symphony, Lake and Geauga’s new professional orchestra, presents a delicious program of Italian music!

Under the baton of Greg Hillis, the orchestra performs Rossini’s lively Barber of Seville Overture, Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony, and highlights from great Italian operas by Mozart, Rossini, and Donizetti with soprano Abigayle Williams
